WELCOME TO THE NOMAD INSIDER!
I have recently launched this website to educate our audience on the fastest growing neighborhood in Manhattan that I love.
As real estate professional, I specialize in marketing luxury apartments in the area, as a website, I would like to expand on this and provide my audience with all aspects of NoMad, including monthly go-to recommendations on restaurants, shops, and other things to do and see in the area.
I will be mailing my quarterly Nomad Insider report with information on how the local real estate market is trending to the approximately 1,500 homes on my mailing list and will be posting the digital version of the report on this website.
I will feature the top exclusive apartments I have for sale on this site. Kindly contact me directly if you are interested in hearing more about my real estate offerings. Please follow me on my Instagram @northofmadison and contact me if you are interested in getting my quarterly brochure.
MAP ON THE RIGHT:
Here, I have highlighted some of the local buildings that I am intimately familiar with, including staple residential complexes, new developments, and current/upcoming hotels in the area. This website is ever-evolving and I will be updating this from time-to-time with new information.
NEW RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENTS IN THE AREA
Located at 15 E 30th Street, Madison House boasts extraordinary views and architectural style, and rightfully so. Their residences start 150 feet from the ground, as they have constructed this building to have most of its mechanicals within the first 15 floors. Apartments feature corner exposures, with unique views from each apartment line. With 11 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows, even the lowest floors capture the beauty of the city from a central and primarily unobstructed viewpoint. The apartments are spacious and beautifully designed.
Amenities are by no means lacking, Gachot brings its experience of international hotel design to Madison house’s 30,000 square feet of club-style space including a spa with a 75-foot multi-lane pool, hot tub, cold plunge, sauna, and lounge area. Their athletic club sits 120 feet above street level and includes a gym, club, children’s playroom, golf simulator, and billiards room. Finally, their lounge demonstrates beauty in its double-height ceilings, where one can read a book or share a cocktail with a friend. The interior design is magnificent, as Madison House brings home the bacon for new development luxury living.
Located at 30 E 29th Street, Rose Hill is the first residential development ever built by the famous Rockefeller group. They have teamed with CetraRuddy, Manhattan’s premier architecture studio, to bring this project to life, combining the elegance and glamour of the Gotham aesthetic with a modern contemporary living style. The residences offer wonderful panoramic views making each home feel spacious and bright, with floor to ceiling windows. The modern contemporary style spreads through each home, with beautiful marble bathrooms, and a true detail of craftsmanship. Given its level of luxury and pricing, this is a must-see for both home buyers and investors.
With a beautiful double-height lobby and grand marble fireplace, this building screams luxury as you enter. When you walk down the spiral lobby staircase you walk into a fully equipped gym. Located in the gym area is a fitting room, a professional-grade squash court, a 50-foot pool, as well as the Dry Heat Wellness Sauna and spacious private changing rooms. In addition to all of the above, Rose Hill offers a lounge area with beautiful panoramic views of the city, a billiards table, library, fireplace, private dining room, bar, and two covered outdoor lounges for residents to enjoy. They also offer a studio guest suite for guests of residents of the building with prior reservation, bicycle storage, and a repair shop and a pet salon with a grooming tub and table.
277 FIFTH AVE
Located between 29th and 30th street, 277 Fifth soars 55 stories high in the heart of NoMad, offering unprecedented panoramic views of Manhattan and beyond. Architected by visionary Viñoly, he put it best, “We wanted to make a building that is timeless and that contributes to the ongoing transformation of Fifth Avenue – a unique and amazing promenade in the heart of New York City.” Every residence in this building features a corner exposure, floor-to-ceiling windows, and truly unrivaled views of the city. The kitchens are custom designed with the best of breed materials from white oak cabinetry to polished marble slab countertops.
With a stunning entrance to a double ceiling lobby with a library to enjoy, 277 Fifth provides a competitive breadth of amenities including a fitness club along with a training and yoga studio. Further, there are separate men’s and women’s spas with steam rooms and saunas. The building also offers an entertaining suite with a separate bar, private dining space for large dinner parties, a ping-pong table and a “kids club.” They also provide private storage, bike storage, a pet priority program, dry cleaning, and vehicle concierge.
30 E 31ST STREET
Located between Madison and Park Avenue South, 30 E 31st Street is a building that stands out architecturally speaking. With inspiration from the 1020’s and 30’s skyscrapers, this building blends a modern sensibility with NoMad’s Neo-Gothic and Art Deco architecture and really stands out in the crowd of its surrounding buildings. The views are comparable to its nearby competition, with floor-to-ceiling windows featuring expansive views of the Empire State Building, NoMad architecture, and Midtown. The two-bedroom apartments consume the entire floor, so you truly feel alone and at home, as you take in the luxury of new development.
Residents can relax in the sophisticated lounge overlooking the tranquil viewing garden. The space is finished in rich stone and warm white oak, and feature a double-sided black limestone fireplace, sumptuous furnishings, and a separate space for intimate gatherings and events. There is also a private dining room with an en-suite catering kitchen available.
